This infographic provides the enrollment details for the **2026-2027 Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)** program for The School Board of Highlands County. --- ## **Enrollment Overview** **VPK enrollment opens March 23, 2026** at the following school sites: * Cracker Trail Elementary * Lake Country Elementary * Memorial Elementary > **Note:** Spots are limited! --- ## **Enrollment Steps** ### **Step 1: VPK Certificate** Complete the VPK Application by visiting the Early Learning Family Portal: * **URL:** [https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/](https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/) ### **Step 2: Gather Documents** You will need to provide the following items: * Guardian's ID * VPK Certificate * Child's birth certificate * Physical * Immunization record * Proof of residency ### **Step 3: Enroll** Register at a participating school site. * **Costs:** $75 registration + $50 first week payment.

It's officially March! Here are some important upcoming dates for LCE! Don't forget Tasty Traditions Fundraiser order forms and money due TOMORROW, Monday, March 2nd.

Parents, our fundraiser for Tasty Traditions kicks off on Thursday, February 12th. Students will be bringing home the fundraiser packet that afternoon, please check backpacks for that info.

Timeline:
-Students sell Tasty Traditions from 2/12-3/2.
-No orders will be accepted past March 2nd
-Student Prize Day - 3/27
-Order Pick Up - 3/31 (Parent Conference Night)
