Second grade has been enjoying visits from the Highlands County Sheriff's Office and their therapy dogs. Stella and Janie have been visiting us on Thursdays to get to know the kids and give students a chance to read stories to them as an outlet from the stressors of school. We have learned a lot about the role of therapy dogs in our communities and we are very grateful for the time we have with them. Thank you HCSO for sharing your pups with our students!!
