LCE Rainy Day Dismissal:
Tuesday, January 21st - ALL Walkers will need to be PPU due to the rain.
Expect some delays as we will have limited "dry" loading zones.

Literacy Week will be 1/27-1/31. During this week, LCE will be hosting our annual Book Fair for all students. Also, on 1/30/24, LCE will be hosting a parent night from 5-7. Parents will also have the ability to visit the book fair with their child/children! Look for a flyer to come home next week!

PTO will be selling Snow Cones on Friday, January 10th. Students can pay a flat fee of $5.00 to enjoy snow cones for the rest of the school year. Students can continue to purchase snow cones each month for $1.00.

LCE Early release tomorrow, Friday December 20th. Students will dismiss at 12:00 noon! There is NO daycare Friday 12/20 after early release. All students and staff will return from Winter Break on January 6th!

The Florida Department of Education has identified 11 resiliency characteristics to help students overcome any challenge. December's featured characteristic is perseverance. When you persevere, you keep trying even when things get hard. Students who develop perseverance are not only enhancing their resilience, but also fostering a growth mindset! Smencils ($2), Smickers ($2), and Scented Keychains ($3) will be sold at Crafty Christmas on Thursday, December 12th from 5:30 - 7 & Friday morning (December 13th) in the cafeteria during breakfast!
All students will enjoy a special holiday meal on December 18th, but only parents of PK, 2, 3, & 5th Grades will be able to reserve "lunch tickets." Forms were sent home today to these grade levels.
All RSVPs (with $) must be turned in by December 13th at noon. No reservations will be accepted after this date /time.
